The serviceAssist app will help you find a solution quickly in exactly these moments – without direct assistance from a HOMAG service team member. Get started with a digital assistant in the service area and take the next step toward digital support for every machine operator.
Highlights
Independent troubleshooting of error messages on your machine: Keep your production running and rely on the serviceAssist web app – the digital support for every machine operator. It provides you with support in case of error messages and helps you find proven solutions without the direct assistance of a service employee.
Keep an overview of everything: With serviceAssist, you have access to all your spare parts orders, keep track of upcoming maintenance on your machines and receive a summary of past remote diagnostics that have been carried out on the machine. In addition, you get quick help by connection to the ServiceBoard if the suggestions were not helpful.
Maintenance overview: Keep an eye on upcoming maintenance across all machines. By clicking on the respective machines, you can also view and download details about the machine, the maintenance and the maintenance instructions.
Direct service contact from the app: If none of the suggested solutions were helpful, you can send a service ticket to the machine manufacturer via the interface with the ServiceBoard. The ServiceBoard app offers all functions for service tickets and video diagnostics for remote maintenance for troubleshooting.

The serviceAssist app is available with a Classic, Advanced or Premium license. Classic is available free of charge for every machine you connect to tapio. Advanced is available on selected machines (see “Technical Data” on our website for machine list). The actual functionality depends on your machine and may vary.
- Classic: Includes the license for the remote diagnostics technology of the future – serviceRemote, an overview of your remote diagnostics history and access to your machine documentation via the web app.
- Advanced: Solution suggestions with instructions (step-by-step) for specific error messages
- Premium: We will inform you personally as soon as we detect irregularities in your machine data. By analysing your machine data with the help of our systems and service technicians, we can identify signs of scenarios such as reduced productivity, indications of increased wear or the threat of a production downtime. As soon as we recognise critical irregularities, we will contact you personally. We also send you a monthly summary by e-mail. This service requires the service supplement “Predictive Diagnosis” as part of your hotline contract.
